Another way to get water is to desalinate seawater. This process removes the salt from seawater so that it can be used for drinking, irrigation, or industrial purposes. However, desalination is very energy-intensive and expensive, so it’s not always practical.

Finally, we can also extract water from the air using a process called atmospheric Water Generation (AWG). This technology collects moisture from the air and turns it into clean drinking water. It’s still in the early stages of development but has great potential for providing clean drinking water in areas where there is limited access to freshwater sources.

Although we often take freshwater for granted ,it is important to remember that clean drinkingwateris a limited resource .

With proper management and conservation ,we can ensure that this vital resource will be available for generations to come .

Next, the water is stirred so that larger particles can come together and form clumps (floc). These clumps are then allowed to settle at the bottom of settling basins where they can be removed. The final step of treatment includes passing the water through filters made of sand and charcoal to remove any remaining impurities.

Once treated, the water is pumped through pipes to our homes where we can enjoy clean drinking water straight from our taps!
